Sinister Trailer #1 With Ethan Hawke
“Sinister” Trailer #1 came out today.
Nine months after the grizzly murder of a local family, a true-crime novelist, played by Ethan Hawke, moves his family into the murder house to work on his next masterpiece. Everything’s going great, he’s got a “good feeling about this,” until he finds a mysterious box full of film and an old timey projector in the attic.
This found footage helps a true-crime novelist realize how and why the family was murdered in his new home. Of course his discoveries put his entire family in touch with supernatural entity of pagan myth known as Bagu who consumes the souls of human children. Yum!

It looks more funny than scary to me.
It looks cheesy but I’ll bet it scares the tar outta me. I’m a super jumpy person, that’s why I LOVE horror movies. And Ethan Hawke, #swoon
Funny or scary – either works for me. The only true failure would be to bore us.
Definitely hard to tell by this trailer. Ethan tends to make fairly good choices sans a dud here and there. I’m sure I’ll watch it either.
