The 2012 Buffy Slayage Quiz!

Test your knowledge of the Buffy legacy through the movie, series and comics!  The below quiz, specifically created for GeekNation’s Buffy Turns 20 panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2012 this year, promises to bend your mind with a series of slayage inquests.  Warning… it’s harder than you think!

1: Which actor filmed scenes for the Buffy movie as well as the TV show?

2: Finish this sentence from the series and name the character who said it:
“And you’ve got people. Billions of people walking around like ______________.”

3: What was the name of the first set of comic issues for Buffy Season 8?

4: What is Xander’s middle name?

5: In Buffy Season 8, who was revealed as the character Twilight?

6: In the movie, who did Buffy hope to marry when she graduated high school?

7: In the series, what is Buffy’s home address?

8: How does Mutant Entertainment end every Buffy episode?

9: How many total vampires did Buffy slay between the movie and the series?

10: What is this quote from the Season 3 finale in reference to:

“Miles to go, Little Miss Muffet counting down from 7 – 3 – 0.”

Answers:

1: Seth Green. In the end, Seth’s scenes were cut from the movie, before he was cast as Oz on the series.

2: “Happy meals with legs,” said by Spike in the season 2 finale, Becoming, Part II.

3: The Long Way Home

4: LaVelle

5: Angel

6: Christian Slater

7: 1630 Revello Drive

8: With a vampire walking across the screen saying “Grrr!  Argh!”

9: 133 vampires.

NOTE: The winner at the panel guessed 138 I believe, and that was the closest number in a smattering of guesses ranging from 500 to 8,000!

10: This quote is referring to Buffy’s death at the end of Season 5. There are 365 days in a year and exactly two years until she’d die (between the season finales). 365 x 2 = 730

So, how did you do?

  1. Uh… Is it cheating that I remembered this from the panel and thus got 100%? ;)

  2. Dang, I missed 2. This was AWESOME! Thought I was the most diehard fan, I have more studying to do :D
