Tory you should sing more often. AMAZING job on one of my favorite songs from my favorite movie! I am disappointed that you didn’t get Pennywise right away, I was yelling at the computer, lol. Here’s Plurality guys: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IzryBRPwsog
Nobody mentioned Final Destination. They scare me because it’s rooted in “Freak Accidents” and I am a major klutz, so they terrify me.
Pennywise! COME ON!
Taken directly from Wikipedia: Psychological thriller is a specific sub-genre of the broad ranged thriller with heavy focus on the unstable emotional states of characters, in combination with mystery and thriller. However, it often incorporates elements from the mystery and drama genre, along with the typical traits of the thriller genre. In addition to drama and mystery, many psychological thrillers contain elements of, and often overlap with, the horror genre, particularly psychological horror.
Third comment! Woohoo! Ok, I disagree about The Shining. That is a horror movie. You don’t need gore in a film to make it horror. The Shining is a horror film not just because of the location and characters. It’s a horror film because of the supernatural aspect of Danny and his ability that was referred to as “the shining”, the devolving characteristics of Jack Torrance into madness, the twins in the hallway imagery, the ghosts in the bar, the dead lady in Room 237, etc etc. Ultimately, in my opinion, what makes The Shining a horror film is the style in which it was shot and the way the story was conveyed on screen. I prefer the film version to the book (which is vastly different). Also, I suppose it’s safe to say The Shining is my favorite movie of all time. And if you’re really crazy like me, here’s a psychological analysis of the entire film http://www.collativelearning.com/the%20shining.html
And….Silence Of The Lambs….not a horror film. Okay, I’m done spamming your episode!
The Nacho Libre Pair would have been awesome costumes! Ah, and the other wrestler is called Esqueleto.
Marcia Gay Harden in The Mist is the scariest villian ever. I watched The Mist by myself in the movie theater, and by the time it ended my chest felt as if there was an invisible hand inside tightening around my heart. I had to call my sis and ask her to put on my then 2-year-old nephew on the phone so I could start to relax.
Btw, Wrong Turn 3 has one of the best kills ever. I am still laughing over that one.
That quiz was hilarious, btw. And Tory, you should really cut the audio of Clare’s “I would 69 that mothereffer” I smell hours of entertaininment with that one!
No love for the original Alien movie? Or does it not qualify as horror anymore?
My voice is the only voice for this nation!!!!!
Aaronflux…. You are infinitely better than Aeon Flux!!!!!!!
