In response to Seth McFarlane hosting the oscars. 1. Jon Stewart has hosted… twice. And I would say that I think Seth has a better understanding of film(he is like a critic and his voice is through his shows) than Jon Stewart. 2. The oscar’s lost all credibility in 2009 when Hurt Locker won… and Avatar was a nominee for best fucking film…
I tried really hard with The Neighbors; liked the preview; but just didn’t like it at all. Approved of the rest of your opinions, so we may get along famously, lol. I refuse to watch Elementary; glad you said it sucks b/c I was curious but not wanting to watch. Now no problem : ) Gonna check out The New Normal. Did you catch Partners? 1st ep was ok, LOVED the second. As for Guys With Kids, I haven’t seen it yet, but Jesse (the “kid from Hackers”) is a friend of mine, so…. uh oh. I feel bad for him now, lol. Should I avoid watching it? I am SO excited for Arrow!!! Thanks guys, good job, will be listening!
Hmm…Partners. I believe Partners is on CBS. And we all know how I feel about CBS. And I honestly don’t care who hosts the Oscars. I’m not watching for the host, although I was quite partial to the year that Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin hosted together. Oh, and I thought The Hurt Locker was just a better movie than Avatar. You take away the acting and writing quality and MAYBE Avatar would have had a chance. Unobtainium. Come on!
Just checked and it looks like Mob Doctor and Partners are already dipping in ratings. I didn’t get to discuss Mob Doctor on this episode. Hmm…I really want to like this show as it seems to have promise but knowing how fickle audiences are and how networks like cancel shit quite fast depending on ratings, maybe we should talk this show soon. It has William Forsythe and we all know he kicked ass in Cloak And Dagger! Anyone….anyone….
I’m not into Seth McFarlane either. Don’t like his work and his talent doesn’t warrant the ego he has.
Loved the first episode, guys. Will definitely check the The New Normal and Last Resort now. Still keeping my hopes up that The Mindy Project gets better; pilot was so-so but I’m willing to give it 4-5 episodes to capture me.
Four to five episodes. Wow. You have more patience than I. My girlfriend was really excited for that show and it didn’t seem to do it for her. I really liked the character Chris Messina played. He was great in Damages and Newsroom. The cameos in the pilot were also nice. But it just seemed like filler.

I thought almost any movie was better than Avatar, lol. I know how you feel about CBS, I feel a similar way about NBC (mostly boycotted since they cancelled Life) but you gotta try Partners!
